Compatible with Conventional Heating Systems
Designed for conventional single-stage heating systems, the Heagstat H701 works seamlessly with gas, oil, or electric furnaces and ventilation and air conditioning. It supports settings for 1 heat and 1 cool, making it perfect for most homes.
Incompatible Systems
Please note that the Heagstat H701 does not support multistage heating and cooling or HVAC central air conditioner heat pump systems. It also is not compatible with 3-wire hydronic systems, mini split systems, RV thermostats, convectors, radiant ceiling heat, and electric baseboard heat (120-240 volts).
Installation and Safety
Before purchasing, thoroughly examine the installation and wiring instructions provided. If you lack experience, proceed with caution to avoid potential issues such as product malfunction or incompatibility. The base can only accommodate a maximum of 2 to 5 wires, and connections beyond 6 to 8 wires are not suitable.
